Arrowfield Stud 部份種馬下年加配種費
Arrowfield Stud's champion sire Redoute's Choice has retained his Australian record fee for the 2008 breeding season while Hussonet and Flying Spur will stand at six figure fees for the first time.
Hussonet and Flying Spur will each stand at Arrowfield at $137,500 including GST in recognition of the success and influence they have cast over Australian racing in the last 12 months.
Redoute's Choice stays on an advertised fee of $330,000 including GST after the recent Sydney yearlings sales reaffirmed that he is still the most sought after stallion at stud in Australasia.
Hussonet's massive increase of almost $100,000 from his 2007 fee of $36,500 recognises that he is rapidly assuming the heights in Australia that he previously reached internationally.
The 6-time Champion Sire of Chile and 5-time Champion 2YO Sire of Chile is currently Second Season Champion Sire Elect in Australia. His nearest rival is more than $2.5 million in arrears.
Hussonet's first Australian crop produced champion 3YO and 6-time G1 winner Weekend Hussler while his second crop includes the G1 Blue Diamond Stakes winner Reaan.
Hussonet is also the sire of Rios, Husson Lightning, Huiskes and Dirty and being free of Northern Dancer blood, he is proving the success of the outcross.
His black type performers Reaan, Dirty, and Brazen Hussey are out of Danehill mares.
Danehill's son Flying Spur is currently Leading Sire of Australia and his progeny's 2008 performances again have him among Australia's five leading sires.
The sire of 10 individual G1 winners and 64 stakeswinners, Flying Spur has produced three individual G1 winners this season - champion 3YO filly elect Forensics, Dealer Principal and Casino Prince.
Last season he stood at $90,000 while his Inglis Easter yearlings sold for up to $1 million and averaged $314,250 off a fee of $40,000.
Redoute's Choice has been the leading sire at the Easter sale for the past four years, continuing his domination in 2008 with 49 yearlings selling at an average of $791,735 including 15 for more than $1million.
They included the two top priced colts at $2.7 million and $2.5 million respectively plus the top priced filly at $1.8million.
Redoute's Choice's Easter results followed the benchmark he set at the Magic Millions sale in March when 25 of his progeny sold at an average of $671,600 and again included the two colts who sold for a sales record price of $2.2 million apiece.
Australia's champion sire in 2006, Redoute's Choice boasts an 11.9% stakeswinners to runners ratio and us the sire of 12 individual G1 winners.
This year his 2YO progeny have included the unbeaten Amelia's Dream, her Timeform rating of 124 the highest for an Australian 2YO filly in the last 25 years .
The fees for the other six Arrowfield stallions remain the same as 2007.
