Samatha Miss 退出1000堅尼
Cox Plate bound filly Samantha Miss arrived in Melbourne this morning and trainer Kris Lees has reported “all is well” with his star galloper.
Samantha Miss is being stabled at Ross McDonald’s Caulfield stable, the home of one of her likely Cox Plate rivals, Weekend Hussler.
“She has settled in well,” Lees said from Rosehill.
“She drank a bucket of water this morning which is a good sign.”
Lees said he will “let her tell” him “how much work to do” in the coming days but she is likely to venture to Moonee Valley next Tuesday morning “for a look around”.
“I’ll then probably send her back there a week later and do a bit more work,” he said.
Samantha Miss is currently the $6 third favourite for the Cox Plate behind Weekend Hussler at $3.60 with Princess Coup at $4.60 with betchoice.com.
