岳禮華不小心策騎提出上訴

上週不小心策騎被罰停賽,如果打得甩的話

賭場王子 , 昆士蘭打比全部有得跑

Champion jockey Damien Oliver has lodged an appeal against a careless riding suspension which threatens to rob him of competing in four of the five remaining Group One races this season.

Oliver, who will miss the Group One Queensland Oaks at Eagle Farm on Saturday, was suspended for 10 meetings and incurred a $2,000 fine from Queensland Racing Limited stewards for causing mid-race interference on Adelaide mare Vormista in the Doomben 10,000 last Saturday.

Oliver pleaded guilty to the careless riding charge but is hoping for a reduction of at least two meetings to enable him to partner Mission Critical in the Queensland Derby (2400m) and Casino Prince in the Stradbroke Handicap (1400m), both Group One races, at Eagle Farm on Saturday week.

His appeal will be heard at 9.30am (AEST) on Friday by Queensland Racing's first-level appeals body.

Mission Critical's trainer Mike Moroney has placed Corey Brown on stand-by to replace Oliver in the Queensland Derby while Brad Rawiller is on the reserve bench for the Anthony Cummings-trained Casino Prince.

Oliver's manager Mark Van Triet said the Victorian rider would appeal against the severity of the sentence.

"We think the suspension is at the high end of the scale but in the meantime he's started serving it and can't ride in the Queensland Oaks," Van Triet said.

"There's five Group One races left in the season in Brisbane and Damien will miss four unless he gets a reduction."

Oliver's suspension will expire at midnight on June 9 and doesn't affect him riding Magnus in the Group One King's Stand Stakes (1000m) at Royal Ascot on June 17.

He will return from England in time to partner Vormista in the Winter Stakes (1400m) at Eagle Farm on June 21 - the final Group One of the season.

Casino Prince's owner Nathan Tinkler was on Tuesday expected to pay the $22,000 late fee to run Casino Prince in the Stradbroke provided he pulled up well after working impressively at Eagle Farm.

"His gallop was very good and he's exactly where he was leading up to the Doncaster Handicap," Cummings said.

"He showed he's as good physically and mentally as he was in the autumn in Sydney and his condition is excellent."

Casino Prince was installed $6 favourite for the Stradbroke before it was decided to put him into the $1 million feature.

Casino Prince won the Group One Chipping Norton Stakes during the Sydney autumn carnival but has not raced since his closing third to Racing To Win and subsequent Doomben 10,000 runner-up Murtajill in the All-Aged Stakes on May 3.

Meanwhile, jockey Bob El-Issa has been suspended for eight weeks for failing to give Jugerston every chance when third to Hunter Dane at the Sunshine Coast on May 14.

El-Issa was found guilty of failing to show "sufficient purpose and vigour" to take a run at the 400m and failing to show vigour until the 150m.

El-Issa pleaded not guilty and will appeal the penalty.
