達利牧場以2.7M購入麥娜神駒
Multiple Group One winner Divine Madonna was sold at auction today for $2.7 million.
Darley Stud puchased the mare when she was offered at the Magic Millions National Broodmare Sale at the Gold Coast.
She is the highest priced horse ever sold through a Magic Millions sale and is the second highest priced mare ever sold in Australia.
The record price of $3.4million was paid for Virage De Fortune in Sydney last year.
Divine Madonna was originally sold as a yearling to trainer Mark Kavanagh for $82,500 at the Adelaidie Magic Millions.
She won more than $2 million prizemoney with her Group One wins coming in the Emirates Stakes, Queen of the Turf, Toorak Handicap and Myer Classic.
Kavanagh's wife Isobel was a part-owner of the mare.
