Leading Melbourne-based jockeys Corey Brown, Craig Williams and Steven King paid the price at Eagle Farm on Saturday when they were hit with suspensions and fines for careless riding.
Williams, set to win another Melbourne riding premiership, was fined $1000 and suspended for eight meeting for causing interference on the favourite Moatize in the Queensland Derby.
Williams intends to appeal against the suspension.
King was also fined $1000 and suspended for eight meetings for causing interference aboard Vormista to El Cambio in the Stradbroke Handicap.
Brown also intends appealing against a $500 fine and eight meeting suspension for causing interference to on Gold Water in the Sir Douglas Wadley Stakes.
