Darley's young Zabeel sire Reset is now a dual hemisphere stakes getting sire following an overnight Listed success in England.

The unbeaten Reset, already the sire of two stakes winners in his first Australian crop, had a breakthrough in the UK overnight when Saxford won the Listed Rose Bowl Stakes (1200m) at Newbury.

Now a gelding, Saxford is from the Makbul mare Bint Makbul and is now the winner of three races from six outings.

He has proven a real bargain, as he cost only 2500gns at last year's Tattersalls October Yearling Sales.

Reset, a son of Zabeel from Group 1 winner Assertive Lass, was a dual Group 1 winner himself and is the sire of Australian juvenile black type winners Likefatherlikeson and Rebel Raider.

Reset stands at Darley Victoria in 2008 for $33,000.
