Weekend Hussler has drawn the outside barrier in a field of 13 for Saturday's $500,000 Patinack Turnbull Stakes at Flemington.
The Turnbull will be Weekend Hussler's first attempt at 2000 metres.
David Hayes reduced his five entrieds to two final acceptors with Craig WIlliams to ride Dato Tan Nim Chan Stakes winner Guillotine and Dwayne Dunn aboard the impressive Naturalism Stakes winner Zagreb.
John Sadler is also double handed with Melbourne Cup winner Efficient and Zipping.
Darren Beadman is making a special trip from Hong Kong to continue his successful association with
Gai Waterhouse's outstanding mare Tuesday Joy, last start winner of the Stocks Stakes at Moonee Valley when ridden by Nash Rawiller.
Beadman has ridden Tuesday Joy three times for three group One wins.
