傳范義龍任司徒德副手
Sir Michael Stoute has played down reports that Kieren Fallon is set to become his assistant trainer.
It had been suggested that Fallon, who has been given an 18-month suspension after failing a drugs test in France, would spend the next year working alongside Stoute in Newmarket.
However, in a statement to PA Sport, the Freemason Lodge handler said: "I had a discussion with Kieren Fallon last night. If he bases himself in Newmarket I would be delighted to have him ride work on a regular basis."
Fallon enjoyed a fruitful partnership when riding as Stoute's stable jockey from 1999 until 2004.
The pair teamed up to win the Derby with both Kris Kin and North Light, while King's Best, Golan and top filly Russian Rhythm also provided Classic highlights.
Although Fallon left to join the Aidan O'Brien team in 2005, he continued to ride for Stoute occasionally and the duo claimed Grand Prix de Saint-Cloud success with Mountain High last year.
The six-time champion jockey is currently awaiting the result of his appeal against the suspension handed out by the French authorities following a race at Deauville in August 2007.
