Anna Pavlova 因場地因素未能復出
Anna Pavlova's seasonal reappearance looks like being put on hold for a second time due to fast ground.
The five-year-old mare, a late withdrawal from the Prix Ganay at Longchamp last month, is now unlikely to take her chance in the Emirates Airline Yorkshire Cup on Friday unless the heavens open on the Knavesmire.
"She's very unlikely to run unless we get a lot of rain," said trainer Richard Fahey.
The North Yorkshire-based handler admitted he would have to wait for easier conditions before getting last autumn's Group Two Prix de Royallieu winner back on the course.
"I have a few bits and pieces of entries for her, but it's all ground-orientated," he added.
