Raven's Pass looks set to contest the Breeders' Cup Classic at Santa Anita on October 25 - and stable-mate Rainbow View could be on the plane to America, too.

After saddling Raven's Pass to exact revenge on old rival Henrythenavigator in Saturday's Queen Elizabeth II Stakes at Ascot, John

Gosden set his sights on stepping his man up to 10 furlongs to take on US stars Curlin - a winner on Saturday - and Big Brown.

"Top horses have to race against each other and at this stage I wouldn't be frightened of going for the Classic," Gosden said yesterday.

"The mile at Santa Anita is close to the bend. I'm never keen on that kind of race and the way he is finishing his races there is no reason not to look at the Classic."

Rainbow View is 7-4 for the 1,000 Guineas after maintaining her unbeaten record in the Fillies' Mile.

And yesterday Gosden refused to rule out a tilt at the Breeders' Cup, adding: "She's a tough girl and we can entertain the thought of going to America."

Also Breeders' Cup-bound is Sixties Icon, who came from last to first under Frankie Dettori to land Ascot's Group 2 Cumberland Lodge Stakes yesterday.

Richard Hannon continued his extraordinary season when landing both legs of the Goffs Million at the Curragh yesterday.

Soul City took the colts' and geldings' version before Minor Vamp landed the fillies' race from stablemate Baileys Cacao.
