Andre Fabre says Olivier Peslier could ride Getaway in the Arc at Longchamp next month.

Frankie Dettori is due to partner the French-trained 10-1 shot in Europe's biggest race of the year.

But he could yet be claimed by Godolphin to ride Prix Foy runner-up Schiaparelli if the ground is soft in Paris on October 5.

And if that happens Fabre has a replacement in mind, telling The Racing Post: "Olivier Peslier may ride."

Meanwhile Prix Foy winner Zambezi Sun could run in the Arc, but his participation is by no means certain.

Trainer Pascal Bary said: "It is possible that Zambezi Sun could run in the Arc but we also have the option of going for the Canadian International.

"The colt could also go for the Japan Cup later in the season."
