Twice Over 可能會跑奧南奴錦標
TWICE OVER has another French trip on his agenda after his gutsy success in the Group 2 Prix Eugene Adam at Maisons-Laffitte eight days ago.
The Henry Cecil-trained three-year old showed 1m2f was his optimum when beating City Leader by three parts of a length, and connections are now considering a tilt at the Group 2 Guillame d'Ornano at Deauville on August 23, in which Twice Over would have to carry a two-kilo penalty.
The ten-time champion trainer knows what it takes to land the race, which is restricted to three-year olds, having won it with Multidimensional in 2006.
Before his victory at Maisons-Laffitte, Twice Over had finished third behind Henrythenavigator in the St James's Palace Stakes at Royal Ascot in June.
Cecil said: "Twice Over is in good form and we'll have a look at the Guilliame d'Ornano at Deauville for him next."
