2006 法國年度代表馬「鐵路聯線」
Arc winner Rail Link has been named France's Horse of the Year for 2006.
The awards, presented by Courses et Elevage in partnership with national racing magazine France-Galop, were announced at a ceremony Auteuil racecourse on March 4.
Trained by Andre Fabre, Rail Link also won the G1 Grand Prix de Paris and was crowned top three-year-old colt by a poll of racing journalists organized by France-Galop.
Mandesha, winner of the G1 Prix de l'Opera, won the the three-year-old fillies' award.
Recently retired champion mare Pride was named best older horse.
Irish owned and trained Prix Jean-Luc Lagardere winner Holy Roman Emperor was named best 2YO.
Or Noir De SOmoza, who won eighth straight races, was honored as best jumper.
