Trackwork Report for March 28, 2007

TURF TRACK


Fast Work

Admire Moon – 600mts/35.7sec and 400mts/22.3sec. Did a round of hack before picking up at 1400mts and stretched well negotiating the final bend. Travelled well on the bridle all through and pushed in the last furlong. Good work.

Daiwa Major and Fusaichi Richard - 600mts/32.10sec, started work from the 1200mts and picked up entering the straight. Pair moved well all through, pushed a little in the last furlong and former trounced later by five lengths with plenty in hand. Daiwa Major was very impressive.

Bartola – 600mts/41sec, started work from 1800mts and travelled on the bit all through. Easy work.

Vermilion – 600mts/33.7sec, started work from 1400mts and picked up entering the final bend. Responded well to the urging in the final 200mts finishing in 10.9sec. Good workout.

Seeking The Best and Agnes Jedi – 600mts/35sec and 400mts/22.6sec, started work from 1200mts travelling well entering the final bend and pushed hard in the last two furlongs, responded well.

Open Canter

Quijano – 1 round, easy work on the bridle.

Nightmare Affair – Easy work on the bridle from 1600mts.

Bellamy Cay – 1400mts, moved well all through.

Marchand D’Or - 1400mts, moved well all through.

Merlerault - Easy work on the bridle from 1600mts.

Hack Canter

Dixie Meister - 1 round of easy work on the bit.

Areyoutalkingtome – Easy canter on the bit.

Youmzain – 1 round of easy work, stretched a little after passing the post.

Flashy Wings – 1 round of easy work travelling on the bit.

Kelly’s Landing - 1 round of easy work on the bit.

Fast Work

Lava Man – 400mts(1800-1400)/26sec, moved on tight reins. Started hacking from 1800mts, travelled on the bit until passing the post and stretched a little going past 1800mts post to 1400mts.

Mystical – 1000mts/1m2sec, 800mts/48.35sec, 600mts/35.15sec and 400mts/22.35. Started work from 1400mts, travelled well in hand all through responding well in the final straight. Good work.

Vengeance Of Rain – 800mts/48.23sec, 600mts/35.73sec and 400mts/23.48. Started work from 1400 travelling well on the bit negotiating the turn. Responded well in the straight easing up passing the post on tight reins. Good work.

Stormy River – 600mts/41sec and 400mts/27sec. Easy work on the bit, travelled well all through.

Hack Canter

Sir Percy – 2 rounds, travelled on the bit easy work. First round on the main track.
