Classy sprinter Lucky Secret is on target for his second Monash Stakes win after recovering from a rare leg injury which sidelined him for six months.

Tony Vasil said the rising five-year-old, who has won seven of his eight starts, had been using an aqua walker for nearly a month as part of his preparation for the 1100m weight-for-age sprint at Caulfield on July 19.
"We are just hoping we can get him right again," Vasil said.
"If he was a maiden you wouldn't bother but we know he has a V12 motor and we will give it a crack."
Lucky Secret hasn't raced since starting the $2.35 favourite and pulling up lame after his only defeat in the Listed MFS Stakes (1100) at Flemington on Oaks Day.
Vasil said his injury was hard to diagnose with the pain emanating from the point where the cannon bone slots into the fetlock.
"He pulled up very sore after the Flemington run and we just couldn't get him right," Vasil said.
"It was a very unusual injury but he is on his way back and we will give it our best shot."
The leg injury has been the second major setback in Lucky Secret's all too brief career.
He suffered a bleeding attack and was banned for three months after stretching his unbeaten record to seven wins in last year's Monash Stakes.
The Listed Monash Stakes has been a good race for Vasil who won it twice with Super Elegant in 2004 and 2005. Super Elegant also finished third in 2003 and second in 2006.
