UK middle distance champion Presvis died overnight of a colic attack.
The Luca Cumani-trained Presvis was a star not only in England, but around the world where he repeatedly competed against the best.
Presvis contested four Dubai Duty Frees, three Singapore International Cups and made four trips to Hong Kong.
He was retired after this year's Dubai World Cup carnival.
A son of Sakhee, Presvis won the 2011 Dubai Duty Free, the 2009 QE 11 Cup at Sha Tin and his stake earnings of $6.6 million is the bench mark for a UK trained horse.
