A deal is being struck for Joanna Morgan's Royal Ascot winner Roca Tumu to be sold to Hong Kong.
The Footstepsinthesand colt, who is owned by the five-strong Roca Tumu Syndicate, has managed to win three of his five starts so far, starting off with a Navan maiden and progressing to a Curragh handicap.
He landed a major prize in Berkshire last month when holding off Tarikhi by a neck in the 27-runner Britannia Stakes.
Morgan herself had been the first female professional to ride at Royal Ascot in the 1978 Queen's Vase.
"I think he's sold now, he's getting vetted today anyway, I think to go to Hong Kong," Morgan said. "Hopefully I'll get another one as good as him one day."
