Tye Angland escapes serious injury after Gosford fall
Tye Angland has escaped serious injury after being dislodged when his mount broke down in the last race at Gosford on Thursday.
Approaching the home corner of the Insurance House Benchmark 69 Handicap (2100m) Angland's mount, the Clarry Conners-trained Vaniloquio ($17) was under pressure and appeared to blunder near the 400m before falling.
Angland was sent crashing to the turf but fortunately was conscious when attended to by ambulance officers.
