Exciting Visindar set to return to Fabre for 2007 campaign

VISINDAR, lastseen when failing to justify favouritism in the Derby last June, is due to return to training with Andre Fabre in Chantilly stable next week after a spell at his owner's farm.
Owned by the Aga Khan, Visindar went off 2-1 favourite at Epsom after someheavy support, but after showing inexperience on only his fourth start faded into fifth behind Sir Percy.
Fabre said on Sunday: "We are expecting Visindar back within the next ten days and I am told everyone at the farm is very pleased with him.
"He had a sesamoid problem after the Derby, which is why he has not run since Epsom, but, all being well, I would hope he'll be ready to race again by May.
Linda’s Lad, who won last season's Lingfield Derby Trial before finishing four places behind stablemate Visindar in the Derby, will also race on as a four-year-old.
The son of Sadler's Wells has been given an extended break since his latest appearance, in the Group 2 Prix Eugene Adam at Maisons-Laffitte last July, but is now back with Fabre.
Herve Barjot, racing manager to the colt's owner Sean Mulryan, said yesterday: "Linda's Lad was found to have a pelvic injury, a fracture, so he was given a rest.
"He has been back with Andre Fabre for two months now, though, and is coming along nicely as he is prepared for his four-year-old campaign.
"Plans are still quite fluid, but we have high hopes for him this season, and he could start off in the Prix Ganay at Longchamp.”
