The George Washington story is one of never-ending twists and turns, but the Aidan O’Brien team are hoping for what could possibly be a fairytale end in America on Saturday week.
A flop at stud, the mercurial four-year-old returned to action this season but has yet to get his head in front, although he has been keeping top company.
He had been thought likely to bid for the Emirates Champion Stakes at Newmarket this weekend, but the Danehill colt will instead attempt to improve on his creditable sixth in last year’s Breeders’ Cup Classic.
O’Brien confirmed: “The plan is to run him in the Breeders’ Cup Classic. It’s so far, so good with him.”作者:
