Famous Name looks set to bypass the stanjamesuk.com 2000 Guineas in favour of a crack at the French or Irish equivalent.
The Dansili colt is as low as 20-1 with Betfred for the May 3 Classic at Newmarket following his four-length victory over Moiqen in the Leopardstown 2000 Guineas Trial.
That form was boosted on Sunday as Moiqen landed the Ballysax Stakes - but trainer Dermot Weld believes the Khalid Abdullah-owned runner is likely to sidestep the English Classic.
"I need to speak to Lord Grimthorpe (Abdullah's racing manager) but I think he will go for the French or Irish Guineas," said Weld.
"He has a lot of pace and it is nice to see the form of his last race working out well."
Abdullah also has Craven Stakes winner Twice Over among the leading fancies for the 2000 Guineas, while his Confront is still as low as 16-1 with some firms despite his Greenham Stakes defeat on Saturday.
