GODOLPHIN will be hoping the floodgates have opened ahead of Creachadoir's bid for glory in the Juddmonte Lockinge Stakes at Newbury on Saturday.
Sheikh Mohammed's operation had their first winner ofthe season at York on Tuesday when the former Michael Jarvis-trained Folk Opera stuck on gamely for Frankie Dettori.
Saeed bin Suroor has a fantastic record in the Group 1 event over 1m, winning the race three times in succession from 1998 to 2000.
This year, he relies solely on Creachadoir, formerly with Irish trainer Jim Bolger.
"Creachadoir worked very well indeed this morning," said Bin Suroor. "He's very fresh at the moment.
"We know that he disappointed badly out in Dubai, but we don't know why.
"All we can say is that he has come back well from there and we expect him to run a very big race."
