Duke Of Marmalade will not be in action at Great Leighs this weekendafter his name was absent from the declarations for Saturday's NewHolland Thoroughbred Open Classic.
Trainer Aidan O'Brien gave consideration to running his five-timeGroup One winner on the Essex Polytrack in preparation for an assaulton the Breeders' Cup Classic later in the year.
Duke Of Marmalade is now expected to run in a similar event atDundalk next Friday - although O'Brien has not completely ruled him outof the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe.
Great Leighs' inaugural Thoroughbred Open meeting took a furtherblow with O'Brien taking out the unbeaten Rip Van Winkle from the NewHolland Thoroughbred Open Juvenile.

idan O'Brien is set to make a last-minute decision on whether Duke Of Marmalade runs at Great Leighs on Saturday.
The five-time Group One winner has been entered for the Thoroughbred Open Classic as a possible prep race for the Breeders' Cup Classic at Santa Anita.
But the Arc is still a possible target for the Duke, and O'Brien has not decided yet whether he'll appear at Britain's newest racecourse.
He told The Racing Post: "Duke Of Marmalade is still a possible for the Arc and we'll leave a decision about Great Leights until close to declaration time.
"If the forecast for Longchamp next week is favourable then he probably won't go to Great Leighs, but it could be a different story if there is a lot of rain forecast."
The other possible Breeders' Cup prep for Duke Of Marmalade is at Dundalk on October 3.
