Champion rider Damien Oliver will not appeal against the double suspension that has ruled him out of both the Crown Oaks and Emirates Stakes days at Flemington.
Oliver was suspended for a total of 14 meetings after being found guilty of careless riding on Von Costa De Hero in the Group 1 Coolmore Stud Stakes and for eight meetings for his ride on Sirmione in the Group 1 Mackinnon Stakes.
Both charges relate to allowing his mounts to shift in and cause interference.
His suspension start at midnight on November 4, which will allow him to ride Mad Rush in the Melbourne Cup on Tuesday, but will conclude at midnight on November 17 so he will not only miss Oaks and Emirates day but also the Sandown Classic meeting the following week.
Among the Group One rides Oliver will forfeit is All Silent in next Saturday's Emirates Stakes.
Queensland jockey Jason Holder was also found guilty of careless riding in the Coolmore Stud Stakes, allowing his mount Portland to shift out and cause interference.
Holder was outed for eight meetings but he is due to start a suspension incurred in Brisbane at mightnight, so will be out of the saddle until November 21.
