Fallon to ride Sariska in Champion Stakes

KIEREN FALLON has bagged the prestigious ride on Sariska in the Champion Stakes at Newmarket on October 17 and will partner the Michael Bell-trained filly in her work on Wednesday morning.

The dual Oaks winner was not supplemented for the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe as the groundwas considered too fast and connections immediately targeted her for the Group 1 event at Newmarket with the prospect of easier ground in the offing.

Rain arrived in Newmarket on Tuesday morning and her trainer will be hoping that he sees more in 11-day run up to the race.

Bell said: "Kieren Fallon will ride Sariska in the Champion Stakes. Unfortunately, Jamie Spencer is suspended but you find no finer substitute than Kieren Fallon."

冠軍錦標有入都有出..

被視為熱門之一的 Zacinto..馬主同Sir Michael Stoute 商討下..決定放棄這場G1賽事..
目標將會轉戰美國..參加 Breeders' Cup Mile..同金剛威一較高下..
但馬主依然有兩隻出賽Doctor Fremantle+Twice Over..

雖然機會馬唔跑冠軍錦標..不過有隻準備出賽..令這場賽事更具競爭性
岳伯仁三歲馬之一..Fame And Glory 好大機會出戰..
自跑完凱旋門大賽的牠..大有可能夥拍 Set Sail 一齊出戰該項賽事
