C.J. Watson has agreed to a sign-and-trade deal to the Bulls, multiple sources confirmed.

Watson will sign a two-year deal worth $7 million.

Golden State will receive a 2011 second round pick.



Matt Barnes has agreed to a two-year deal to join the Raptors.

The deal, which is scheduled to be finalized on Tuesday, will pay Barnes nearly $10 million over the next two seasons, according to sources close to the process.

A sign-and-trade will be necessary because Toronto recently spent the bulk of its $5.8 million mid-level exception to sign Linas Kleiza.

Richard Jefferson will re-sign with the Spurs on Wednesday.

Details of the new deal aren't available, but Jefferson's salary will be well below the $15.2 million he would have made he had not opted out of the final year of his contract.

Jeremy Lin is on the verge of signing a two-year deal with the Warriors.

Lin, a 6-foot-3, 200-pound combo guard who was undrafted out of Harvard, played for the Dallas Mavericks summer league and piqued the interest of several teams with his play.

Lin's deal is partially guaranteed this year, and the Warriors hold a team option for the second season.

Lin is a native of the San Francisco Bay Area and grew up a fan of the Warriors.

The Los Angeles Lakers are shoring up the potential loss of forward Josh Powell to the Atlanta Hawks by agreeing to terms with veteran big man Theo Ratliff on a one-year deal for the veterans' minimum of $1.35 million, according to a league source.

The Atlanta Hawks are close to addressing their need for a backup big man by acquiring Los Angeles Lakers reserve forward Josh Powell on a one-year deal expected to be for the veteran minimum $992,680, according to league sources. Powell is expected to pick the Hawks over Cleveland, Chicago and New Jersey in the next couple of days.

Sources tells TNT's David Aldridge that forward Richard Jefferson's new contract with the San Antonio Spurs, officially announced on Wednesday, is for four years and $38.8 million, with a player option for the final season at a little more than $11 million.
