迪諾醫生唔跑加冕盃,轉戰法國跑尚蒂伊大賽
Doctor Dino is to run at Chantilly on Sunday after being ruled out of the Juddmonte Coronation Cup at Epsom due to the prospect of unsuitable ground.
The six-year-old has been supplemented for the Group Two Grand Prix de Chantilly by his trainer Richard Gibson after connections decided to skip next Friday's Group One at Epsom.
"The goal for this horse is running in the Grand Prix de Saint-Cloud in three weeks' time. With the ground so doubtful in England we decided to go to Chantilly," said Gibson.
"After Saint-Cloud we would hope to run the horse in the King George at Ascot.
"He's in very good nick, so we'll see him how we go."
The globe-trotting son of Muhtathir won two races at the highest level last year - the Man o'War Stakes at Belmont and the Hong Kong Vase.
He was last seen finishing third in the Dubai Sheema Classic at Nad Al Sheba two months ago.
Doctor Dino is generally available at 16-1 for the King George VI And Queen Elizabeth Diamond Stakes at Ascot on July 26.
