賴維銘（「三和之星」）承認一項不小心策騎〔賽事規例第100(1)條〕，事緣在轉直路彎時及在直路早段，他容許坐騎向外斜跑，導致「怡勝」受擠迫，並且被帶向外跑壓向「齊喝采」，「怡勝」及「齊喝采」均因而嚴重失去平衡。小組判罰賴維銘停賽（兩個香港賽馬日）直至十二月十三日星期一才可再次出賽。此項停賽罰則即時生效。:ooo:

After taking evidence from all parties concerned and after viewing the videos, the Stewards found that LIONS` FORTUNE, which was endeavouring to obtain a run to the inside of CROWN WITNESS, was crowded for room to the inside of that horse which shifted in under pressure near the 50 Metres. As the Stewards were not comfortably satisfied that LIONS` FORTUNE had fully established running to the inside of CROWN WITNESS prior to that horse shifting ground and bearing in mind where the incident occurred in proximity to the winning post, they did not consider that LIONS FORTUNE would not have finished in front of CROWN WITNESS had the incident not occurred. Therefore the protest/objection was overruled and weighed-in was declared on the numbers as semaphored by the Judge.
