Update on tests for Equine Influenza

?Minister for Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry Tony Burke said he has?received advice that the first of two final tests for equine influenza at the Eastern Creek Quarantine Station has returned a negative.
?The negative result for all 74 horses at the Quarantine Station has come from tests at the Elizabeth Macarthur Agricultural Institute near Camden.
?𨯗s I informed Parliament, samples from the 74 horses were also sent to the Australian Animal Health Laboratory in Geelong,?/em> Mr Burke said.
?𨧻 will provide a further update as soon as I receive the results of those tests.?/em>
