Australian stars Takeover Target and Magnus are doing well since they arrived at Newmarket from Singapore on Sunday night.

The pair are stabled at Geoff Wragg's Newmarket yard with Kiwi mare Seachange and a big team of more than 15 horses trained by South African Mike De Kock.

The Australian sprinters, who filled the quinella in the KrisFlyer International Sprint at Kranji on May 18, were reported to have settled in well.

The Aussies have been greeted with the news that crack UK sprinter Sakhee's Secret will not be among their rivals in the Group One King's Stand Stakes at Royal Ascot on June 17.

However the winner last year's July Cup at Newmarket may well prove the horse to beat in the G1 Golden Jubilee Stakes on the final day of the Royal Ascot carnival on June 21.

Trainer Hugh Morrison said running twice in four days at Royal Ascot was not in his plans.

Sakhee's Secret is the 4/1 favourite with UK bookmakers for the Golden Jubilee with Morrison preferring him over the six furlongs rather than the shorter five furlongs of the King's Stand Stakes on June 17.

Sakhee's Secret has started once this season for a second in the Palace House Stakes over five furlongs.

“His race is probably the Golden Jubilee,” Morrison told the Racing Post.

“I think he has the pace for the King's Stand, but the six-furlong race would be the right one for us to go for at Ascot.”

Takeover Target has run in both the King's Stand and Golden Jubilee for the past two years and is set to go after the double again this year.

Magnus is making only one appearance in the King's Stand Stakes, his final start before he is retired to stud.

Melbourne trainer Peter Moody will join Magnus at Newmarket next week while Kiwi trainer Graeme Sanders is on his way to take charge of Seachange's preparation for the Golden Jubilee.

Sanders has been retained to take over as Seachange's trainer in the UK from Ralph Manning, who has elected to stay in New Zealand due to his stable commitments.

Seachange has been at Geoff Wragg's Newmarket stables for more than a month after racing in Dubai in March.

Seachange has had her coat clipped and has been kept to close to her best racing weight of 520kg.

Plans are in place for Seachange to be taken to Ascot for a workout on the course at the Breakfast With The Stars session that will be held a week before the Royal carnival starts on June 17.

Seachange will take on the Golden Jubilee first-up with Ted Durcan booked to ride the mare.

Last season's Prix Morny winner Myboycharlie is another top local sprinter set to bypass the King's Stand and wait for the Golden Jubilee.
