Godolphin snap up star duo

GODOLPHIN’S net appears to be spreading ever wider with the acquisition of a pair of high-profile performers – one from Italy, and another from Argentina.
High-class miler Ramonti, who won last season’s Italian Guineas before being beaten a head in Derby Italiano, has joined Sheikh Mohammed’s team. Having won a Group 1 in Italy this term for the Botti brothers, this dominant front-runner finished a fine third last time out in the Hong Kong Mile after just failing to make all.
Godolphin have also purchased Argentina’s top filly Emotion Parade.
Formerly trained by Miguel Garcia, she took all three legs of the Argentine fillies’ Triple Crown in 2006, winning Classics on both dirt and turf.
