卓普咸兵變
PETER CHAPPLE-HYAM'S fortunes have been dealt a further blow with the recent removal of eight horses owned by Cheveley Park Stud from his stable. :kkk: :funk:
The St Gatien trainer recently lost two horses belonging to BHA chairman Paul Roy to Jeremy Noseda and Ed Dunlop, and has not had the best of luck this season with his two-year-olds, with only Countrywide City and Exceptional Art on the scoresheet.
The Cheveley Park draft were made up mainly of two-year-olds, and he had yet to train a winner for the local stud. But, possibly, the most notable removal was that of Empowered, a Fasliyev half-brother to Authorized, who won the Derby for Chapple-Hyam last year. :aaaaaa:
The split is believed to be due to a breakdown in communications between the trainer and the stud, and plans for the horses in question have still to be finalised.
Chris Richardson, managing director of Cheveley Park Stud, said: "The horses have come back to Cheveley Park Stud. No decision has been made and one won't be made until next week."
Chapple-Hyam preferred not to comment on the matter.
