Meanwhile the future of Breeders' Cup Classic hero Raven's Pass has yet to be decided.

The three-year-old shocked the racing world at Santa Anita on Saturday night by upsetting hot favourite and defending champion Curlin to take the Û5 million race under Frankie Dettori for trainer John Gosden and owner Princess Haya of Jordan.

But whether he stays in training or is retired to stud has not been decided.

The win capped a spectacular night for Dettori and Gosden who also scored earlier with Donativum in the Grey Goose Juvenile Turf.

At Aintree yesterday Knowhere put himself on target for a crack at the Hennessy Cognac Gold Cup by claiming the scalps of Exotic Dancer and Voy Por Ustedes in a spectacular renewal of the intercasino.co.uk Old Roan Chase.

Knowhere, representing the Nigel Twiston-Davies and Paddy Brennan combination, loves a scrap and overhauled Dancer on the run-in for a length success. Snoopy Loopy was third, with Voy Por Ustedes fourth.
