「閒話一句」遲來香港的原因
根據今日scmp的報導，馬匹於運往法國及土耳其參賽時血液受感染; 於英國閹割後，在隔離營又滯留了一段較長時間，故此遲了運港。似乎跟坊間估計因為「國美事件」而運港受阻並無關係。:zzz:

"It has been a rushed preparation, for sure, because Collection was a month to six weeks late getting here," he said. "Sometime during his trips to France and Turkey for his last two runs in Europe, he picked up a blood infection and that was why he was late getting over here.
"He was gelded in England and then kept ticking in quarantine, so he wasn't carrying a lot of condition as a result, but it has certainly made things more difficult."
Moore's next problem is Collection's rating, as a rise of any more than four points for yesterday's placing would make him ineligible for his next scheduled run in a Class Two over 1,800m on March 7.
"That's the plan, to take him up in distance next time and that gives us a nice stepping stone to the 2,000 metres in the Derby," said Moore, whose Kings Falcon was beaten a lip in the Mercedes-Benz Derby Trial.
"Looking at the Derby Trial today, there isn't anything there that I would be worried about taking on with Collection, it's more a case of how everything progresses for him." Moore's day wound up with Irish Jig (Weichong Marwing) finally landing his first win and nudging out promising stablemate White Jade (Beadman) in the process.
