FOUR-time Group 1 winner Mosheen has been retired after revelations the mare fractured a hind leg.
Co-owner Phil Sly told Racing Network that Mosheen will be sent to Japan in January to be served by former champion Deep Impact.

Sly said Mosheen injured herself in the Tristarc Stakes at Caulfield last Saturday when she finished sixth behind Streama.

He said scintigraphy results revealed his worst fears. Mosheen had sustained a fracture to her near side tibia.
