Lester Piggott is raring to go ahead of the rescheduled raceday named in his honour at Newmarket tomorrow.

Piggott was unwell and his day had to be cancelled in May, but he made a visit to the track yesterday morning to see the “Lester The Legend” display being assembled in one of the marquees.

[color=FF0000][b]The legendary jockey rode seven Classic winners on the Rowley Mile and each race at the weekend is named after one of them.[/b][/color]
