[color=blue]A world record price for a yearling filly was set at the Tattersalls October Yearling Sale on Friday.[/color]

[color=blue]The Sadler's Wells filly out of the Irish River mare Brigid sold for 2.5 million guineas.[/color]

The previous record for a yearling filly was the $US4.4 million for the a Storm Cat filly out of East Of The Moon sold in Kentucky in 2000.

The filly, a sister to recent Group 1 Fillies' Mile winner Listen, was secured by London based bloodstock agent Char ..
