Kiwi mare Seachange had to settle for a handy sixth placing in the G2 Jebel Hatta when she made her Dubai debut but she has won over the support of her rider Ted Durcan.

Durcan, the champion rider in Dubai, rode Seachange for the first time in the 1777-metre event and will again be aboard her in her main mission, the $US5 million Dubai Duty Free on May 29.
