Papal Bull bids to show his fine run in the King George VI And Queen Elizabeth Stakes was no fluke when he lines up for the Rheinland-Pokal der Sparkasse at Cologne on Sunday.

The five-year-old, trained by Sir Michael Stoute, put up a career-best performance when running the brilliant Duke Of Marmalade to half a length at Ascot three weeks ago.

He now aims to gain his first win at the highest level in this German Group One over a mile and a half.
