Dual Group One winner Sarrera has undergone a blood transfusion after suffering a ruptured spleen in a trackwork accident.

The eight-year-old is currently being treated at the Melbourne University Veterinary Clinic at Werribee.

Trainer Mike Moroney's stable manager Anthony Feroce said Sarrera was "double barrelled" by a stablemate on Friday morning at the training track at Flemington.
