Group One-winning stayer No Wine No Song continues to make a steady recovery from recent bowel surgery and is expected to return to work in December.

Last month he was found gravely ill and rushed to the Randwick Equine Centre and operated on immediately to repair a displaced bowel, ending trainer Kevin Moses' plans to run him in the Melbourne Cup.

No Wine No Song has returned to Moses' stables after losing 18kg following the surgery and is coming along nicely.
