Last year¡¦s winning trainer Kazunori Tabe¡¦s Cosmo Bulk will be part one of a two-pronged attack by Japan with fellow competitor Shadow Gate trained by Yukihiro Kato, both arriving on May 11.
Top South-African trainer Mike de Kock will be represented by Oracle West, a gallant second to Vengeance Of Rain in this year¡¦s Group 1 Dubai Sheema Classic. On April 29, Oracle West ran a creditable sixth to Viva Pataca in the Audemars Piguet Queen Elizabeth II Cup (APQEII Cup), where he was a late replacement for his stablemate Mullins Bay. He will be even fitter from the Hong Kong run, and de Kock is confident of a very good showing in Singapore.
Flying the flag for England will be Clive Brittain¡¦s Kandidate who ran unplaced to US champion Invasor in the Group 1 Dubai World Cup. But the Kabool five-year-old has already bounced back from his Dubai experience with a solid third in the Betfred Gordon Richards Stakes (Group 3) on April 27.
Andreas Schutz, winner of the 2004 SAIC with Epalo when representing Germany, will saddle up Champions Gallery for Hong Kong, where he is now based. The English-bred by Dansili ran third behind Vital King and Floral Pegasus in the Group 1 Mercedes Benz Hong Kong Derby last March.
Australasian representation will come from New Zealand with Wayne and Vanessa Hillis¡¦ Dezigna who has been showing super form on home territory with Group 1 placings behind New Zealand¡¦s ¡¥horse of the moment¡¦ Sir Slick. He is the first horse to arrive in Singapore as he lands at Changi Airport on May 6 at 8.30am.
British-born but French-based trainer Richard Gibson will send over Doctor Dino following the five-year-olds third to the Aidan O¡¦Brien-trained multiple Group 1 winner Dylan Thomas, in the Group 1 Prix Ganay at Longchamp, France on April 29.
Local representation will come from Laurie Laxon¡¦s Ace Armada and Crusoe who both gained automatic entry with wins in the Group 3 Singapore Guineas and Group 3 Singapore 4YO Mile respectively. Laxon will also send out Royal Admiral who recently won the Group 2 Queen Elizabeth II Cup.
Trainer Patrick Shaw has Group 1 placed Setembro Chove and Group 2 Singapore Derby Trial winner War Horn.

Last year¡¦s Queen Elizabeth II Cup winner King And King (Steven Burridge) who finished a tremendous second in the SAIC 2006 and exciting new import Ruwi, who pulled up well after his first start in Singapore on April 27, complete the line-up for the local horses.
