閒話一句 - the classiest horse in the field, I simply cannot accept that a horse can run well at 1,400m, 1,800m and 2,000m but not 1,600m
締造美麗 - may be a 120 point horse next season, but a lot of things against it in this race: (1) its form seemes to be going downhill; (2) it has to give 5lb to most of the horses; (3) in its last race against non-4 years old horses, it could only beat 好利威 by a short head, when 好利威 giving it 9lb...can't see 好利威 winning this race even at set weigh
好先生 - the most consistent horse in the field, will probably run a place again (or even win if 閒話一句 really can't run 1,600m)...
爆冷 - I am not too disappointed with it this season...there is no doubt that it is going downhill, but it is still the first horse home in the Hong Kong Vase and last run in the Gold Cup is very unlucky, should have run a place...if the tempo is slow, it is still the horse with the fastest dash...
勝眼光 - don't know how to rate this horse...
步步穩 - the horse that wants to win this race most...still one of the best 1,600m horses in Hong Kong...it waas the only horse in the leading group in the 董事盃 that could still come close in the finish...
首飾奇寶 - last race is a little bit disappointed, I expected more from it in the last 300m...if it can produce its best, it could run a place...
勇敢小子 - another very good horse...don't know how much does the Derby take away from it...it should have won the Derby if Prebble can claim it down better in the first 800m, similar to 再豐裕 last season...
君子一言 - a very good horse, but still has to prove itself...it has only beaten 火箭動力 by a neck when the latter giving it 11lb, can't see 火箭動力 winning this race even the other horses giving it 11lb...of course its form should be much better now than then...
