Dylan Thomas下一目標,育馬者盃草地大賽
Bookmakers William Hill have installed Dylan Thomas as their 7-4 favourite for the Breeders Cup Turf.
Following on from his nail biting success in the Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe, the talented four-year-old now looks set to end his illustrious career at the Breeders Cup at Monmouth Park later this month, when he is likely to meet the star of the US turf scene English Channel, and the Brian Meehan trained-Red Rocks, who was victorious in the race twelve months ago.
Other possible runners include last year’s runner-up Better Talk Now, and the dual Grade 1 winner After Market.
William Hill spokesman Tony Kenny commented “Strictly on form you’d have to say that Dylan Thomas looks like the proverbial ‘good thing’ for the Breeders’ Cup Turf. However he has had eight hard races this season, and a trip to America could possibly be one race to many for the great horse” He continued “Red Rocks on the other hand has only had four races this year, and the Breeders Cup Turf is obviouslya race that Brian Meehan has been targeting all season”
