Pour Moi to cover in New Zealand at reduced fee
DERBY winner Pour Moi will cover his first southern hemisphere season, at New Zealand's Windsor Park Stud, at a fee of NZ$20,000. That figure converts as ¢G10,089 and £á12,359. Pour Moi stood this season at Coolmore for £á20,000.
"We are delighted to have secured such a high quality racehorse with such an outstanding pedigree; visually, he has such a striking resemblance to his own great grandsire Northern Dancer" said Windsor Park owner Nelson Schick. "As was the case with his English Derby winning predecessor, Pour Moi is bred on the same successful Sadler's Wells-Darshaan cross as High Chaparral".
He will stand alongside other notable Coolmore sires such as Rip van Winkle, whose fee will be NZ$22,000, the same as champion sire Thorn Park.
Mastercraftsman's southern fee has been set at $20,000, with Thewayyouare at NZ$8,000.
