BRETT DOYLE will leave Newmarket in August to take up a year-long contract to ride for trainer Andy Leung in Hong Kong.
The 35-year-old jockey is bidding to chalk up a century of winners in Hong Kong as as he begins his second spell in the Chinese territory.
Doyle was stable jockey to Leung for four years, during which he won several big races including the Hong Kong Macau Trophy on Clown's Gift in 2004.
Doyle, who rides at 8st 7lb, has been riding as a freelance since his return to Britain three years ago and rode in Dubai during the winter.
Doylesaid: “Being on 99 it would be great to get the 100 and, hopefully, I will be there for a while.
“I really enjoyed my last spell in Hong Kong and I'm really looking forward to the start of the season on September 16.
“I'll be riding trackwork again for over a month and it will be great to renew some great friendships and associations.”:lll: :lll:
