Champion Group I winning jockey Shane Dye is at the centre of serious stewards inquiry in Mauritius.
The Stewards opened the inquiry in relation to Dye’s actions aboard Hold My Jacket in the early part of the home straight in the J.Ange Cayeux Cup on Saturday
.
After taking initial evidence from Dye, stewards adjourned the hearing until Tuesday.
The race was won by fellow Australian jockey Dan Nikolic aboard The Cardinal and the video replay shows Dye, who was on the inside of the leader, have a look to his left in the early part of the straight.
