Darjina 退役
DARJINA, runner-up in the Sun Chariot Stakes at Newmarket on Saturday, has been retired. The four-year-old filly was finishing second in Group1 company for the sixth time this season and her trainer Alain de Royer-Dupre said: “She ran very well, she has no excuse. Richard Hughes is a very good jockey. There are no excuses.
“We decided before the race to stop the career of the filly. She will be a beautiful mare for her owner.”
Darjina won the Prix du Moulin and Poule d'Essai des Pouliches last season.
