退役馬「鴻運至尊」新西蘭展開配種生涯
Danfive (Danehill ex Eyes of Belief, by Sadler’s Wells) – who raced as ‘Grand Supreme’ in Hong Kong – has been secured by Grangewilliam Stud for stud duties.
Danfive won his first five races straight in Hong Kong from the stable of Peter Ho.
“History has shown us that fast sons of Danehill become very successful sires and Danfive was certainly fast,” said Mark Corcoran in a press release.
Danfive’s dam, Eyes of Belief, is a sister to Saffron Walden (Irish 2000 Guineas-Gr.1) and Insight (Woodbine E P Taylor Stakes-Gr.1). She is also a half-sister to Dolphin Street (Longchamp Prix de la Foret-Gr.1). This is the family of Henrythenavigator, the son of Kingmambo who won both the English and Irish 2000 Guineas last year.
Danfive will stand at a fee of $5,000 + gst alongside Brilliance, Sandtrap and Thano.
Brilliance has been represented by two black type winners this season – Fritzy Boy (Mudgway Partsworld Stakes-Gr.1) and Easy Ryder (Waikato Guineas-Gr.3).
