Generous Thought 會賣到香港
RECENT Newmarket winner Generous Thought looks to have run his last race on these shores having been sold to race in Hong Kong.
The Paul Howling-trained colt, not beaten far in the Jersey Stakes at Royal Ascot, won a decent conditions event on his latest outing and his trainer had been looking forward to tackling some big prizes.
However, the three-year-old, bought by Jill Lamb Bloodstock at the Tattersalls Breeze-up Sales lastApril, is heading for pastures new.
"Generous Thought has been sold and will now be going to race in Hong Kong," said Howling.
"I must say it is sad news for me as he is probably the best horse I've ever trained.
"It was a joint decision between the owner (Liam Sheridan) and Jill Lamb and he will now be trained by a top trainer in Hong Kong and running in all the big races out there.
"As I said, it is sad for me but we have to move on sometimes."
